The RDS-Tools Team is proud to announce the general availability of RDS-Knight 4.5 version . It contains great new features and enhancements:


  • Registries and Printers Permissions are now available, by selecting the corresponding value under the right or left-tree view under the Management and Inspection tabs:
  • An Automatic Unblock Service was added for the Firewall setting. It allows you to automatically unblock IP addresses after a certain amount of time (in minutes).Default value is 0, disabling this feature.
  • A new setting had been added under the Product tab: The Data Retention Policy.
    It defines the period of time after which RDS-Knight events are removed from the database. A backup is performed before each database cleanup. This policy is defined in minutes. Default data retention policy is 259 200 minutes, i.e. 6 months:
  • RDS-Knight 4.5 includes all the improvements and fixes released in previous versions.
